This is a pretty good tripel. Nothing especially stands out about it, but that is part of the charm. It is a very straight-forward tripel in every way. It glows a deep golden with a quickly disappearing starched head. The aroma is sweet and pungent, but quickly disappears – not dank, by any means. The taste is sweet through the mouth, and mostly dissipates quickly. However, there is a slight sweetness that tends to adhere to the back top of the mouth, and is rather pleasant – reminding you to reach for the next sip. Altogether, quite good, and a beer I would enjoy again.
