This beer falls into the myriad of Mexican beers that are, by nature, disposed towards days on the beach or BBQing in the backyard. To be honest, I can’t spend too much time differentiating between this and competition such as Corono, Tecate, Sol, and Modelo Especial, except to say that this is similar. This beer is the standard golden color and the standard crisp, refreshing ‘beer’ flavor that doesn’t really taste like anything else but that – beer. I CAN say that this is substantially better than the comparable products from Budweiser or Miller. But, it doesn’t put on aires to be anything more than it is, which is a great summertime beer. I could see myself enjoying several of these on a beach – hopefully sooner than later.
